I wish I had known that I was God’s beloved
I wish I had known that I did not have to earn His love
I wish I had known that I did not have to try so hard
I wish I had known that I was completely free in Christ
I wish I had known that I was totally loved, fully accepted, and wonderfully made
I wish I had known that grace and love are more important than rule-keeping
I wish I had known that I could be anything I wanted to be
I wish I had accepted others just as they are without expectations
I wish I had been affirmed in my giftings so that I would have blossomed sooner
I wish I had known that time would pass so quickly, like a vapour 

What I didn’t know then … I now know, in part
So, I choose to stop wishing …
I choose to stop striving
I choose to start doing
I choose to start growing
I choose to start living
I choose to start dreaming
I choose to start making the most of each day
I choose, by God’s Spirit …

to start being all that my Father God created me to be!

Susan is a simple gal who enjoys simple pleasures.  Her hobbies include biking, hiking, writing, reading and photography. She loves to encourage others.  Her passion is to be used by God as He directs.

She joined the staff of the Associated Gospel Churches in March 2004 in the role of Church Relations Coordinator. Susan has two delightful daughters, one wonderful son-in-law and a handful of soul sisters.
