Youth
Youth At Compass Point
Compass Point Youth gatherings are hosted in partnership with Young Life, a registered non-profit Christian mission.
Young Life is dedicated to loving teens in their world, and encouraging them to follow Jesus Christ. They are all about relationships; ones that start with meeting kids wherever they are at in life, caring for them, and sharing the Christian faith in simple and understandable terms…all with no strings attached.
What Does Young Life Look Like?
Grades 9-12
Young Life
Young Life is for high school students between grades 9-12. Our staff and volunteers walk alongside students as they navigate the complexities of high school and model for them through mentoring relationships what it means to follow Christ and to make him known.

Grades 6-8
Wyldlife
WyldLife is Young Life programming for students in junior high (grades 6-8). It operates in a similar manner to Young Life, expect that it only meets once a week on Friday nights. The schedule rotates between having Campaigners one week and Club the next.

Learn About Capernaum
Capernaum gives young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships, and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem.
In Burlington, Capernaum is combined with Young Life and WyldLife (depending on the student’s age) and participates with them in their regular programming.
Each Capernaum student is paired with a “buddy,” a friend who will stick with them throughout the evening to ensure that they are feeling comfortable and getting the attention that is required.
What Are Campaigners?
Campaigners is the name given to weekly group meetings of our student Christian leaders, who are also called campaigners.
This meeting is an opportunity to gather as a Burlington team and for our students to grow in their faith through bible study, worship, and prayer time with their leader, as well as their leadership skills through our leadership training.
What Is Club?
Club is the name of our weekly event that is hosted by our volunteer Young Life leaders and staff, and this event is catered towards our students who don’t know Jesus.
It’s a place where our student Christian leaders (a.k.a. campaigners) can invite their non-Christian friends to have a great night full of fun and laughs, and get a chance to hear about God in a way that they can understand.
