Eagles Nest of Waterdown

Coldest Night of the Year

Each year Eaglesnest participates in the Coldest Night of the Year, where thousands of Canadians walk together one night to raise money for vulnerable families and individuals. This year was a little different as they adjusted with COVID restrictions. Our team walked virtually, keeping us updated over social media.

Together, we raised over $38,000!  A big thank you to everyone who walked, donated to a walker, contributed to the swag bags or sponsored the walk.

Hope Centre

Though the HOPE Centre is closed to most in-person services, thanks to technology they can offer all programs and services through virtual platforms. At the end of January, they were also able to offer Boundaries, an eight-week course that teaches you when to say yes, how to say no and how to take control of one’s life, which filled up quickly. Their online Positive Parenting course also continues to be busy, filling up quickly.
