Is this just for couples who are struggling in their marriage?

No.

Couples who are in a rough spot are invited and welcome to attend.

Couples who are in an ok spot are invited and welcome to attend.

Couples who are in a great spot are invited and welcome to attend.

Wherever you find the state of your relationship, The Marriage Course is about intentionally investing the relationship that most important to you.

*Please note: The Marriage Course is not intended to take the place of professional help provided by a qualified couples therapist.

What will a typical night look like?

After arrival, you’ll check in, grab your desserts and then make your way to a table specifically set with you in mind – with two seats only!

There is a workbook for each of you and videos will show a variety of different couples at different stages of marriage.

The content creators, Nicky and Sila Lee, navigate each evening with insights and loads of opportunities to apply, in real time, the stuff you’re learning about marriage and each other.

Throughout the night, you’ll have time to interact with each other in guided, intentional activities designed to increase connection.

Susan and Dean Reynolds will host the evening and be on deck to make sure the evening goes smoothly, and that your conversations take place in privacy.

What if I want to come but my spouse does not?

At times people can feel a bit funny about joining something like this – and your spouse may have a lot of concerns or questions or simply feel “we don’t need this – we’re fine!”

Considerately share about the relational benefit you hope to gain from the course and consider sharing the information you’ve learned that draws you to attend.

Who are the hosts for this Session?

This course will be hosted by Susan and Dean Reynolds

Will I be asked to share things with the whole group?

Not to worry, even though the The Marriage Course meets as a group, it’s not a group discussion about your relationship. Imagine? That would be so weird!

You will be sitting at a table, only the two of you, and when you have a chance to talk, there’s music playing to increase privacy.

At no point will you be asked to share in the group about your relationship. The content covered is completely personal and private – we are very sensitive to making the space safe for you to connect.

These conversations are empowering for the couple attending as the course content enables couples to work through issues with guidance but on their own.

Is childcare provided?

No. Please secure your childcare ahead of time to allow yourself the space to engage fully in the course just the two of you.

I tried to sign up but it was full, what can I do?

We wish we could accommodate everyone but in the case that registration is full, we ask that you please join our waitlist.

Next session dates are not yet determined but on the waitlist, you’ll be first to know.

Is this course only for Christians?

No. This course is open to everyone. It is based on Christian principles, but designed to help couples of all faiths strengthen their relationship
