Thanksgiving Food Drive
With the cost-of-living rising, more and more people in our community need food support. While we have set aside money in our operations budget for fresh food, like milk and eggs, our supply of non-perishables depends primarily on donations from our congregation and neighbours.
When Does the Food Drive Start?
On the Thanksgiving weekend, as you return to your car after the Sunday service, you’ll see a paper bag under your windshield wiper.
We’d appreciate it if you could fill that bag with the items that are listed on the bag, or see below.
When/Where Do I Bring My Bag?
Please return the bags on Sunday, October 20th
If you aren’t around on Thanksgiving weekend, please feel free to fill any bag and bring to the church during office hours as well:
Monday – Friday: 9:00am-4:30pm
Bag Placed on Car following the service
Fill bag with food items listed on bag
Return bag the next Sunday
Other Ways To Help
If you are not able to give, please don’t feel guilt or pressure to participate. If you use food support yourself, please learn more about our Food Market Here
Please be reminded that you can bring food to Compass Point at anytime during the year and drop it in the large bins at both main entrances.
